Jharkhand News: The Executive President of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Hemant Soren today took oath as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
The Governor, CP Radhakrishnan, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Soren at a simple function organised at Raj Bhavan.
He took oath as Chief Minister of the state for the third time, days after being released on bail by the high court in an alleged money laundering case.
Earlier, Soren staked a claim before governor CP Radhakrishnan yesterday following Champai Soren’s resignation who took oath as Jharkhand’s 12th chief minister after Hemant Soren’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on 31st January.
Manipur: Holidays Extended For Another Two Days In All Schools
The Manipur Government has decided to extend the holiday for all schools in the state by another two days due to the worsening flood situation. While the Government offices will remain closed till tomorrow.
