Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP Of Misusing Electoral Bond Scheme

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the BJP of misusing the Electoral Bond Scheme and using it to provide various projects to those companies that donated to the party.

Addressing a public meeting organised by the UDF in Kozhikode in Kerala on Monday (15th April 2024) evening, Mr Gandhi criticised the Prime Minister for claiming that the Electoral Bond Scheme was designed to create transparency in the political system.

He pointed out that the Supreme Court thought it otherwise and termed it illegal.

Earlier, addressing a roadshow in Wayanad in Kerala, the Congress leader criticised the BJP’s stand saying that ‘One nation, One people, One language and One leader’ is  a fundamental misunderstanding of the country.

Mr Gandhi observed that language is the link to civilization, and cannot be imposed from the top. He said the idea of a single leader is an insult to every young Indian.

The Congress leader participated in roadshows at Sultan Battery, Pulpally and Mananthavady.
