Paris Olympics: Indian Men’s Hockey Team Secures A Draw Against Argentina In Second Pool B Match

In the Paris Olympics, the Indian men’s hockey team today drew against Argentina in a Pool B hockey match.

Lucas Martinez helped Argentina get ahead in the first half when it looked like this game might be a lost cause, captain Harmanpreet Singh buried a drag flick from a penalty corner right before the start of the last minute. The match thus ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Indian men’s hockey team will next face Ireland, who lost 1-2 to Australia.

India remains in the third spot in the six-team Pool B with four points from two games. India will have to finish in the Top 4 in Pool B to enter the quarter-finals. In the Pool Belgium is at the top Australia is 2nd while Argentina is fourth.
